Michael Pollan is a respected long time advocate of eating and living healthy. He has been in the scene of promoting the understanding of what you eat will conduct the future of your health and livelihood. He's written a number of best sellers on the topic including the most notably "Omnivore's Dilemma", "In Defense of Food," and a new handbook out called "Food Rules" that deals with a step-by-step on how to eat healthily.
He's been in a long journey in explaining the battle that is on going for many years now with the food industry. We, as the consumers, have been deprived of critical information regarding the real truth about the food that we eat. The big industrial food corporations and manufactures have been keeping many people in the dark about the dangera of not understanding what we eat. Consumers have not been well informed of the potential health hazards that can develop by eating most of the food products manufactured by these industrial food companies.
Mr. Pollan has recently been scene in the acclaimed documentary "Food Inc," a movie documentary that depicts the food industry and its corporations who have been manufacturing food that could potentially be the cost of most chronic illnesses, a crisis that have been crippling our community physically and financially. In the movie, Pollan meticulously illustrates and reveals how our nation's food policy and legislation have been heavily influenced by the big ag industry with their top lobbyists.
