Many people have tried several fast dieting regimens to no success. Mainly because it is hard for some people to really give up what they love to eat and digest. Other people, however, do not see success in traditional dieting methods. On that note, maybe it is high time that you get to know the type of diet that has been said to really get those unwanted pounds off your body.
Go eat the stone man’s way.
Stone Age dieting has increasingly becoming a favorite option for those who want to lose weight. And no, you do not need to hunt down and consume a mammoth’s leg for the whole month. As the name implies, your diet will be based on the probable and most likely foods that prehistoric men and women have feasted on.
Fast dieting experts have conducted several studies and the results revealed that prehistoric men and women were inclined to feed on lean meat, fruits, nuts, and vegetables and with water as their universal beverage of choice.
Before you confess your love of anything Neolithic and outdated, you must first understand that there is a vast difference between the real Stone Age Diet and the modern (read scientific) Stone Age Diet. Stone Age people have to hunt and gather their food. On that fact alone, scientists argue that Stone Age people eating patterns may not as be as regular as modern people. Admittedly, food is a readily available resource for most of us. A short trip to the grocery store is all we need.
So that said, modern age diet could never be as near as the real thing. But still, going all naturals has its rewards. If you are thinking of going Stone Age, the following items are what you need to consume.
The usual items in the Stone Age Diet include meat (no bacon) chicken, turkey, fish, seafood, eggs, fruit, nuts (excluding peanuts which are really a type of bean), berries, all vegetables (particularly root vegetables) including potatoes (no chips or fries). When it comes to drinks, a Stone Age dieter must restrict himself to water, bottled mineral water, black tea (no sugar), black coffee (no sugar), natural Fruit juices (unsweetened), fruit smoothies, vegetable juices, and herbal teas.
Modern Stone Age Diet may differ greatly from the real deal. But like any other fast dieting schemes, all you need to do is stomach it all up and be willed to really lose those pounds without straining yourself or your health. You can know more about Stone Age Diet by joining circles of fellow Stone Age dieters and try to gain as much information as you can. They will be more than happy to help you shed those unwelcomed and stubborn pounds the Stone Age (almost) way!
