Though further longer term studies still required in making a better accurate judgment, recent studies are already showing negative signs of what transgenic food (GMO) could potentially do to our health. In particular, the results and findings clearly reveal a connection between the GM corn and toxicity in the rats’ kidneys and livers.
We need to understand that signs like these cannot be ignored. Better yet, it even calls for an urgent attention! I mean, this could mean a serious catastrophe that we could all regret if we don’t pay attention to this issue.
I’m for technological innovation but within the boundaries of proper and careful adequate tests to secure human health and environmental safety.
So, don’t hesitate to be skeptical about things that could affect you and your family’s wellbeing. This is a serious matter! Use your given rights to find out the truth and critical answers. Just like the late President Reagan said, “Trust but verify.” Do not leave it to them because “they” will not always be on your side.

5. Conclusion:
Patho-physiological profiles are unique for each GM crop/food, underlining the necessity for a case-by-case evaluation of their safety, as is largely admitted and agreed by regulators. It is not possible to make comments concerning any general, similar subchronic toxic effect for all GM foods. However, in the three GM maize varieties that formed the basis of this investigation, new side effects linked to the consumption of these cereals were revealed, which were sex- and often dose-dependent.
Effects were mostly concentrated in kidney and liver function, the two major diet detoxification organs, but in detail differed with each GM type. In addition, some effects on heart, adrenal, spleen and blood cells were also frequently noted.
