Dave Reynolds South Dakota Longhorn Ranch - “I have lived in the Southern Black Hills for over twelve years and raising Longhorn cattle and Spanish Mustangs. I am dedicated to raising my cattle as naturally as possible and using no hormones or antibiotics.”
Dave Reynolds is an old time rancher and cowboy. He loves to do things the natural way. He grew up on a farm in Minnesota where they had dairy cows. He moved to South Dakota thirty years ago and started raising Longhorn cattle. His love of the West also found him breeding and training Spanish Mustang horses.
He sticks to the natural raising of both, and also keeps a low carbon footprint, not using ATV's to round-up his cattle and horses. His dedication to natural horsemanship also crosses over to his Longhorn raising. His gentle, calm approach to handling the animals creates a herd that is friendly and content.
