CSR Membership Benefits

1. CSR Overview
Community Supported Ranching or CSR is derived from the same concept of Community Supported Agriculture or CSA. Borrowed from the same tradition of dedicated supporters of sustainable agriculture, the same idea of CSA exists within CSR’s fundamental system and structure. CSR consists of two groups, the community of “share-holders” (or CSR Members) and the small family-owned ranch owners.

The main purpose of CSR is to help these small family-owned ranchers deliver 100% all-natural grass fed beef products directly to their local customers as well as their interstate supporters. Working with small-family ranchers, we engage under a mutual goal to preserve, improve, and maintain their way of survival. To help achieve this goal, we require all registered customers to purchase a share(s) of the available cattle in advance. The purpose of CSR’s pre-ordering system is to help ranchers secure the anticipated operation budget, labor cost and other expenses prior to the final meat processing and shipping. This also helps ranchers cover their expenses in preparation for their next pasture.

2. CSR Memberhsip Benefits
As a result of cutting off the unnecessary cost of intermediary processing or what we all refer to as “The Middleman”, registered customers benefit from paying less than the normal inflated cost. CSR guarantees the lowest price, way lower than the normal retail price of 100% all-natural grass fed beef that you will find anywhere else. Besides the economical benefits, CSR promotes a healthier way of consuming meat.

Since all cattle are raised in an open grassy environment, not in feedlots, with no synthetic growth hormones and antibiotics, and not fed with grain or corn, all beef products are leaner, tastier and more nutritious. As for the ranchers’ benefit, our members’ support will help them to continue providing the healthiest, most natural and most humane living environment for their cattle.
